John Babatanko Yeldin is a highly experienced retired Naval Officer with 35 years of distinguished and meritorious service in the Nigerian Navy. Throughout his military career, he served in various roles and capacities, demonstrating exceptional leadership and operational management abilities. He has also proven to possess outstanding strategic thinking, communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.

Some of his key responsibilities in the Nigerian Navy include, but are not limited to, leadership, operational management, strategic planning, and team management.

Mr Yeldin is a Fellow of the National Defence College and a Member of the Institute of Management. He holds a Master’s Degree in Strategic Studies from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.

Adeyemi Oba is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background in the oil and gas industry, commodities trading, and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC).
  • He is currently the CEO of LCFE Tradenet Limited, a successful startup in the Nigerian commodities ecosystem.
  • He possesses over 30 years of experience in various sectors, including oil & gas, solid minerals, energy, and supply chain, with a specialization in reservoir/production geology.
  • He has a strong background in commodities trading, with expertise in planning, overseeing, and coordinating trading activities, and a sound understanding of the commodity market.
  • His past roles include working with major international oil and gas companies like Shell and Chevron during his time at Schlumberger Oilfield Services and serving as the managing director of Nulver Limited, an EPC company

Makplang is a highly experienced private legal practitioner and researcher with over 10 years of extensive experience and specialisation in litigation, Alternative Dispute Resolu-tion (ADR), legal drafting and research, corporate law (including corporate governance and regulatory compliance), and property law. Currently, he serves as an Associate at S. D. Lafat & Co. (Integritas Chambers), where he leverages his expertise to provide high-quality legal services to clients.
In addition to his role at the law firm, Makplang has served and continues to serve as a company secretary, legal officer, and/or adviser to numerous companies, businesses, or-ganisations, associations, and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). As a company secretary, he ensures that all legal and regulatory requirements are met promptly and accurately, maintains proper corporate records and documents, advises directors on governance issues, duties, and liabilities, and coordinates board meetings and Annual General Meetings (AGMs) etc.
As a legal officer and adviser, he advocates for ADR due to its cost-effectiveness and time efficiency. He has participated in several high-profile negotiations and out-of-court set-tlements, utilising his expertise to resolve disputes swiftly and effectively.
Makplang is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) and holds both a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Jos, Nigeria. He is passionate about teaching, ADR, leadership, advocacy, volunteerism, humanitarian services, and youth and community development. In his spare time, he enjoys teaching, volunteering, and watching or playing football.

Mohammed Abubakar (born 1st January 1990 in Bida, Niger State, Nigeria) is an accountant by training with qualifications in accountancy from The Federal Polytechnic Bida (HND, 2014) and Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru, Bida Campus (ND, 2007). He also holds a Senior Secondary School Certificate (NABTEB, 2018) and a First School Leaving Certificate (1998).

Fluent in English, Hausa, and Nupe, he is skilled in accountancy and has a strong academic background. His interests include meeting people, reading, travelling, and researching.
